SOSka Group ble etablert i Kharkiv, Ukraina i 2005 av Mykola Ridnyi (f. 1985), Serhiy Popov (f. 1978) og Ganna Kriventsova (f. 1985). I dag består SOSka Group av Mykola Ridnyi og Serhiy Popov.
Fra 2005 til 2012 sto deltagere av gruppen for den kuratoriske aktiviteten knyttet til SOSka gallery-lab i Kharkiv – en uavhengig plattform for utvikling av den lokale kunstsfære.
I 2009 kuraterte de den internasjonale utstillingen “The New History” i Kharkiv Museum of Art.
Siden 2011 har gruppen vært medarrangør for Days of apartment Exhibitions, en festival med selvorganisert utstillinger i Kharkiv.
